Foundations of Nigeria Federalism 1900 – 1960, is the second part of a trilogy if the foundations of Nigeria Federalism, a short-term research project of the defunct National Council on intergovernmental Relation (NCIR). This book focuses, therefore, on the forces and processes that either facilitated or impeded the evolution of the federalizing tendencies that were emerging in the pre-British period. It also demonstrates how, in the end, federalism triumphed.
